1. BELT
I’m a big sucker for cool belts and usually expensive ones *sigh*. A belt is one of the easiest ways to dress up an outfit. Whether it’s a traditional belt, a waist belt, or a tie belt (I’ve got my eye on this one) there’s something to be said about about it’s ability to uplift an outfit. Gucci belts have flooded Instagram lately, but are little on the pricey side starting at around $600. This Moschino belt I found on NET-A-PORTER is a third of the price and just as elegant.
2. SUNGLASSES
Everyone knows a sleek pair of sunglasses are a must-have accessory. I tend to go for 2 pairs each season: 1 pair to pull out for special occasions (like a Prada or Ray-ban) and a 2nd cheaper pair to toss on for the beach or run etc – Reality Eyewear is my go-to. Right now I’m also loving these Illesteva Sunglasses from THE ICONIC.
3. BAG
A unique bag is a feature of any on trend outfit. I have steered away from non-leather styles in the last few years, finding quality more appealing. I truly believe that a designer bag will pay itself off ten times over with the cost-per-wear (if you go for something timeless). An example of this was my Skagen backpack which I’ve worn hundreds of times over.
I love a good belt to tie a look together. I wish I’d bought the Gucci one last year before the price escalated and it kept selling out! Oh well, live and learn.
