Black On Black

Heya lovelies :)

I hope everyone had a great day with their dad today! I saw so many Instagram and Facebook posts sharing the dad love – so nice to see!

I got time today to take a few snaps for the blog which I’ve been meaning to do all week. It really becomes addictive and when I’m not blogging I’m certainly thinking about what will come next. My boyfriend assisted with the photography as usual, and we found a new little haunt to take photos in an abandoned car park next to my house. I quite like the addition of greenery to spice things up and give the photos a little somethin’ extra. Normally I like stark backgrounds which make the clothes pop, but this seems to work!

Today’s outfit is all about basic black accessorised to the hilt. Pretty simply really… structured top, drape pocket pant – bought to life with a sparkly clutch, black and white heels, statement necklace, watch and rings.

I’m crushing hard on both my new black staples – pants from Country Road, and top from Topshop.

The other item I’m in-love with is my new Minc Collections necklace. I only received it in the post on Friday and I haven’t taken it off. It’s great to invest in some lovely jewellery which becomes your lifeline :)
