My last shoot in Sydney before heading off on our big overseas adventure took place in the divine Paddington Reservoir Gardens. This perfect little historical park is hidden at the top of Oxford Street, and is a must see if you’re in the area! With it’s divine walk ways, ancient Greek like pools, greenery and perfect picnic spots it makes for a fairytale location. A fashion bloggers dream really!

For me perfect Sydney winter weather has been a chance to show off some spring looks early, this outfit being one of them. Black and white is still reigning supreme as one of my all time favourite looks, and I don’t see the monochrome trend dying off anytime soon. I’m obsessed with the beading and texture on this incredible jacket which I’ll be wearing with just about anything this spring. There is also beautiful detail on the skirt, can you see the black studded edges? This takes some of the limelight back from the jacket, and the top although subtle is a key staple for bringing this whole look together. The cute love heart cut out shape is to die for!

Last and final hours in Australia were spent getting my hair done, catching up with friends, sorting nails, outfit planning and packing. I finally had my regrowth sorted before fleeing the country from the lovely Ronelle Roos in Double Bay and got a purple tone through my hair… not sure if you can notice in these pics? Maybe next time I’ll go a bit more Nicole Richie…

We’re now well and truly into the swing of travels, having already visited LA, San Diego and Palm Springs. Today we leave Palm Springs for Vegas! It’s my first time there with James having already been several times. I’m falling in love with so many boho looks in the States and this trend is going to be huge for spring / summer in Australia. In this weather it’s hard not to fall back into Boho territory – think floaty off the shoulder tops and dresses. Check back in for more updates on the blog soon!
