Hello! Kicking myself into gear to bring you the first post of 2016. It’s been such a relaxing break this year and a blur of where where holidays ended and summer began. The most weird inconsistent weather has played out in Sydney over Christmas and we’re now enjoying beautiful long sunny days and there’s no looking back! I dug out last year’s resolutions and realised I set these very casually, so this year’s are more in depth:
- Do more blogging – expect more posts! That said, I think I post better when I don’t feel the pressure of posting. I love creating content when I’m relaxed or on holidays – so I hope that happens naturally this year.
- 2016 is the year to travel. I want new places and new adventures. I miss days of living in London and easily travel to other parts of Europe. Last year I felt way too sensible with travel abroad and this year I’m going to make up for it!
- Get fit – having always been an exercise girl, my fitness totally slipped off last year and it’s time to get it back
- Do more road trips! Being on the road makes you feel free!
- Take more photos! This ties into number 1, but I want to learn more about photography & editing shots
- Try a minimal wardrobe! It’s time for a cleanse and to purge unworn items. I was recently reading XX blog and I thought her tips were so good. She inspired me to try for myself!
- Read more books – I can’t remember the last time I read a book, but there was a time I always had on on the go and I miss the way books expand the mind and get you thinking
- Be more organised. You’ll have probably realised by now I’m not very organised at all. Posting is ad hoc, Instagrams and Snapchats are ad hoc and I’m a typical pisces. Being more creative brain it’s easy to slip into day dreams where I plan a billion things I want to do in my head then don’t execute them or feel too overwhelmed. This year I wanna make stuff happen, bit-by-bit!
Whether you’re being more strict about resolutions, or casually floating through – hope you have a great start to the year!

Love your playsuit!
Some of my resolutions are : being more in the present (always thinking ahead), stop overthinking, read more, eat healthier (such a cliché I know..) and some other little things :)

I love hearing your resolutions thanks for sharing Lyn!! I only just noticed this comment – I can so relate to all of yours as well :) I hope they’re going well so far! I especially love ‘live in the moment’ I plan ahead too much too and overthink :) xxx
