Investment Piece of the Week: Karen Millen Sweater

As much as this girl loves a bargain, I still like to buy quality pieces that will be around for a good few seasons. I’m talking about pieces that will elevate your wardrobe – whether it’s a well-made pair of shoes, a beautiful designer handbag or a special piece of jewellery. I guess it’s about balance – like anything in life! In a world of fast-fashion it’s nice to know you can wear something more than once and in lots of different ways.

Hence why I’ve decided to add a new blog post to the mix ‘Investment Piece of the Week’ or IPOTW. It’s all about showcasing pieces I deem to be worth the splurge. First ever IPOTW is this Karen Millen Flarred Cuff Ribbed Jumper. As well as being the soften thing ever and having killer sleeves, it looks good with skinny jeans, and also styled with a pair of culottes. A classic black knit will always have a place in my heart – it’s the first item I ever splurged on for work years ago.
