I arrived with excitement for the first day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia this evening. Being the 20th year anniversary of MBFWA there was a buzz in the air at opening night and standards were set high with the likes of Gemma Ward, Haute Pursuit & Nic Trunfio making an appearance.
It felt like a dream attending the Ellery show, with X factor at an all time high. Gemma Walk lead the catwalk and hip-hop tunes blared getting everyone’s attention. Bell sleeves and flares were everywhere, as well as sharper lines and tailoring and some floaty pieces.
