I love autumn in Sydney as it’s usually not too cold, and provides the perfect opportunity to style up those light layers and nail trans-seasonal dressing. I’ve got a bit of a formula for transitional dressing which goes something like: trench, skinny jeans, loafers, shirt and leather shoulder bag. Switch shirt to a t-shirt if you want to be even more casual – or add a heel and red lip if you want to get a little dressy. Nothing complicated but it works for me!
This trench coat I scored at Primark London just under 2 years ago on our 6 week trip around the world. From memory it was around 20 pounds and I’m still getting a whole lotta wear out of it! Wishing Primark would come to Aus sometime soon that’s for sure. I’m always ranting about how much I love skinny jeans so I think you know my stance here.
This shirt I’m in love with along with every other Faithfull the Label piece. Classy beachwear at it’s finest!
Another transitional wardrobe saviour has been these loafers from Boden UK which I purchased before my trip. The grey and silver are almost sold out but the leopard and burgundy are just as good and there’s still a few pairs left! Ready to pull the trigger on a second pair myself – yikes.
LIFE UPDATE AS PROMISED:
Since coming back from holidays I’ve found myself in a position whereby I’ll be able to spend a lot more time on my blog (potentially full-time) which is really exciting! I think it’s a sign as I was feeling like I had to hold back on my blog due to a career move I decided to make last year. It’s a tough one with blogging as lots of people still don’t think of it as a full-time job, and it’s hard to imagine buying a house, supporting a family (that kind of serious stuff) on a freelance income. That said, it’s the 21st century and I’m a big believer that anything is possible! Hope you guys continue to follow along this crazy blogging journey of mine and I greatly appreciate the continued support!
Happy Anzac day and long weekend.
