As part of the new Marcs StreetView campaign I was asked to share a few of my favourite local places around Sydney, along with some streetstyle. Naturally I jumped at the chance, because a) I love Marcs clothes and b) I love getting the chance to share new cafes and places to go with you guys. This is the first of a three part series where I share a couple of my favourite hidden gems in Surry Hills!
I decided to focus on Surry Hills because I spend a lot of time here, and it’s a buzzy area of Sydney with so much to do! Gnome Cafe (shown in the pics) is first up, and one of my favourite cafes from way back when. It’s so cute and they do great coffee! Has a Parisian vibe, so sitting at this cafe wearing an all black outfit seems fitting. There’s a big old school map on the wall too, which always gets me dreaming of travel!
Summer outfit of choice – black silks and leather. Always a sucker for black in summer as it goes great with a (fake) tan.
Coffee at Gnome is the best! You can find this cafe at 536 Crown St, Surry Hills.
Easy walking distance from Central Station.
This has got to be my favourite new leather bag – Marcs do such great quality leather!
Anyone can upload pics to Marcs StreetView through the hashtag #marcsstreetview on Instagram, and you can delve into the site to discover more places to go in your city! Come on my journey along with the other street view contributors via Marcs Instagram, the Streetview platform or the hashtag above.
Stayed tuned for hidden gems part 2!
