Before 2014 wrapped up, I was asked by the lovely folk at Roc Eyewear, August Street/Pink Stitch, and The Luxe Nomad to participate in the ultimate summer blogger competition ‘Eclectic Roc and Roll Summer’. The brief was to create a unique blog post by the water encapsulating the aesthetic of each brand involved, and to be as creative as possible with location, imagery and words.
Having grown up at the beach on the Central Coast, and being a beach girl through and through I was hugely excited about working on this project. I started thinking about where to shoot in Sydney and Icebergs ocean pool came to mind immediately. To me the endless summer starts in Bondi, and Icebergs is a place I spend lots of time as a swimmer, so it seemed like the perfect place. It’s so close to the ocean you could actually fall in!

The ultimate outfit was easy to dream up and then bring to life thanks to the help of Roc & August Street/Pink Stitch. An amazing all white combo, with pattern jacket and reflector sunnies with green-blue lens’ would do the trick. The blue sea backdrop was glistening and contrasted so well with the clothing. Nothing screams ‘SUMMER’ like an (almost) all white outfit. The sunglasses picked up the reflection of the pool which was a bonus! Creating a Bondi luxe vibe was front and centre of my mind and I’m pretty sure that came to life. The perfect outfit for Icebergs dining or enjoying a latte at the upstairs cafe post shoot.
This is one of my most fun projects to date and I hope you love the entry, fingers crossed for that winning trip to Thailand!
