Hey guys… Checking in after 2 days of fashion week for 2016. Today was a flurry of excitement mixed with chaos as people came out for the first full day of Mercedez Benz Fashion Week Australia 2016. I almost missed the first show (Ginger and Smart) because I was stupidly late and had to beg to be let in! After that little hiccup it was a fun first day. Great catching up with my babes Alanda from White & Capsule, April from Travels of a Stylist and Nicky from Calmly Kaotic as well as other familiar faces.
The week started with a bang last night at the Maticevski show in Barangaroo, backed up with some amazing shows today including Misha Collection, Rebecca Valance and Swarovski! Bella Hadid was sooooo graceful walking for Misha Collection it was surreal seeing her in real life. The Swarovski party was lots of fun tonight – with the space theme taking over. It’s hard to go wrong with crystals, champagne and dance music!
This week I’m working with David Jones to bring you some looks from their current collections. Today was all about the all black which always seems to be timeless and elegant – I don’t think I wear enough all black these days. The brand KITX I can’t get enough of right now and I may or may not be wearing this blazer in 2 looks this week :)
