Op-shop Finds
To be honest, I thought haven’t done any type of vintage shopping in years and thought my op-shopping days were over. Two things happened recently and I changed my mind A) I read an article on Chronicles Of Her titled ‘7 days of outfits for $300’ in partnership with Salvation Army B) after a random brunch date in Crows Nest with my bestie, I ended up finding this amazing designer wool coat (pictured) at St Vinnies for $30! Safe to say, I’m back on the op-shopping bandwagon.
The Staircase on Netflix
Over the weekend when I was under house arrest with the flu, I stumbled across ‘The Staircase’ on Netflix. I thought it was relatively new but a few of you confirmed you’d watched it already (when I did an Instagram story poll). It’s about a marine turned author who was convicted of murdering his wife in 2001 (in the US). It covers the trial, family life, and has you massively questioning whether he did it. No spoilers here, if you’re into crime docos it’s definitely one to add to the viewing list. Not too intensive either as it’s only one season.
The New Coach Parker Bag
If you were following on Insta stories last week you’ll know I’ve fallen head over heels for the new Coach Parker Bag. It comes in a range of colours and styles, although I think the classic black is my favourite. Tax return time is coming up – half to savings, half to spendings, #amiright? All bags are under $1000 which is a pretty good for a well-made designer option.
