After a few weekends away it’s nice to be home in Sydney and settling into winter despite the colder weather. The Australian winter doesn’t really get too cold here compared with European or New York, but it’s still nice to have a couple of coats at hand for a sudden turn when the weather drops that extra few degrees. This winter I’m getting by with two coats which have been my lifeline for style and keeping warm. This coat pictured and a classic camel coat worn here.. This coat has surprised me the most being completely versatile and trendy despite having a bit of a vintage feel. I love a coat that’s roomy enough to fit a jumper underneath.
Since cutting my hair short I’ve been finding it so much easier to manage, and being able to let it air dry and put a few waves in as an afterthought. I’d forgotten how much I love having blonde hair and I can’t imagine going back to brunette any time soon. I guess when you find something that works why not stick with it, especially when you feel comfortable with a particular look. I’ve also been enjoying regular blow dries and trims at Blow Dry Bar’s Potts Point salon which is great for an express style and quick trim on the go in a relaxed inner city setting.
I’m looking to be able to share some hair styling tips & tricks as well as what’s in my makeup bag very soon!
