Country Road are nailing work wear again – this time in the form of the perfect work skirt. This ‘Crepe Wrap Skirt’ from their latest collection is a true gem. A chic update on the traditional work skirt, a blend of A Line and pencil with a bit of flounce. It has side buttons (so technically no wrap) and falls to the perfect length below the knee.
Paired with a white t-shirt and longline check blazer it gives a fresh take on 9-5 dressing. Are layered necklaces office appropriate? I’d like to think yes. The styling possibilities are endless with this skirt, I really want to try it with a fluffy cream knit, fishnets and stiletto ankle boots. It’s times like this I miss working in a corporate office!
