With a serious lack of basics for spring, I decided to jump on EVERLANE to see what’s new.
Alongside this, I thought I’d share an introductory post about the brand and why I love it (I first discovered EVERLANE around 5 years ago). The appeal of sustainable brand EVERLANE is in their basic tees, wide-leg denim jeans and neutral colour palette. They’re known for producing the same styles over and over, and it works for them. It’s very easy-breezy L.A. The basic tees always catch my eye – which is important for a girl like me who never seems to have enough basics.
Because of their trendy and affordable pieces, EVERLANE has garnered a cult following. Although US-based they ship to most countries and they are upfront about where their garments are made and the cost of making them, which add to the appeal of EVERLANE. As someone who loves to shop online I try to buy sustainable brands, but let’s be honest sustainable brands can be pricey. This is not the case with EVERLANE and the reason I am adding a lot of their pieces to my shopping cart. Specifically their denim, which feels designer without the price tag to match – around $130AUD for a pair of jeans.
I am eagerly awaiting a restock in my size of the Way High Wide Leg Jeans in ‘washed sky’, and two other pairs of jeans I love are The Corduroy Wide-Leg Pant in ‘Sandstone’, and the Way High Jeans in light indigo. Despite the wide-leg jeans being made of corduroy, the material is still light enough to wear in Aussie summer. I’m thinking of styling them with a plain black tank, gold necklace and a cute handbag. Definitely want to play with more simplistic looks this summer while staying true to my classic signature style!
The shoes are on-point and a lot of them are made of Italian leather and range from $250 to $300. The Glove Boots are divine – a classic ankle boot that comes in black and ‘toffee’. They’re made of woven material and are making me wish we were going into winter all over again. Some sizes are out of stock however a restock is due at the end of this month.
I always love shopping here and looking forward to getting my order from the US – like with all US brands it’s better to do your research and choose well, as it can be a nightmare to send stuff back. That reminds me – don’t forget about the US sizing! Looking forward to styling my new EVERLANE pieces multiple ways, and mixing them up for summer. In terms of sustainable brands, you won’t find one as cool or affordable as EVERLANE.
